Inkblot 4

I created the original inkblot print on paper and then translated it to metal.  A pattern was created and hand cut into the metal.  3 layers of vitreous enamel (glass) were layered one at a time onto the surface and fired onto the metal.  A hand painted graphite surface was finally applied to mimic the texture that the wet paint being pulled from its mirror image created.   These move beautifully!  Edgy, arty, dramatic.  A big statement for any occasion! 3 1/2" L x 2 3/4" W Sterling silver posts.
