Size: 2.1 oz (60 g) Description: Our lingonberry bar is back for the holidays! We again use Alaska foraged lingonberries (aka lowbush cranberries) to make this bar. Intensely flavorful, the sour berry notes heighten the rich creaminess of our single origin Costa Rica 62% cacao and the Costa Rican cacao nibs provide a roasty, chocolaty crunch. Lingonberries, scientific name vaccinium vitis-idaea, in Alaska are commonly referred to as low bush cranberries, but are different, though in the same berry family, as than the much more common and well know cranberry in North America, vaccinium macrocarpon, and cranberry in Europe, vaccinium oxycoccos.
