MA9 Spalted Maple and Epoxy Double-Sided Magnetic Knife Block (You Will Receive Block Shown)

  Our Double-Sided Live Edge and Epoxy Resin Magnetic Knife Block is a much cooler uncle to our standard walnut magnetic knife block. This beauty features live edge hardwoods fused with epoxy resin to give it a kick ass rivers and streams look. The hardwoods we use include Walnut, Oak, Maple and Pecan . The live edge for this beautiful piece is hand selected from our inventory for its interesting figure and grain. Cracks are valued when we create one of these blocks…cracks equal a place for resin to go. The blocks are constructed by laminating two 1″ rough cut milled boards with 16 rare earth neodymium magnets in each. The finished product is a seamless appearing block that is magnetized on both sides. The completed block contains a total of 32 magnets.Our block sits atop two 1” diameter stainless steel rods which reach into the block for stability. The hardwood and anodized aluminum base also feature non-skid rubber feet which allow for airflow under the wood and add to its stability.
