PE5 Pecan and Epoxy Resin Double-Sided Magnetic Knife Block (You Receive Block Shown)

Our Double-Sided Live Edge and Epoxy Resin Magnetic Knife Block is a much cooler uncle to our standard walnut magnetic knife block. This beauty features live edge hardwoods fused with epoxy resin to give it a kick ass rivers and streams look. The hardwoods we use include Walnut, Oak, Maple and Pecan. The live edge for this beautiful piece is hand selected from our inventory for its interesting figure and grain. Cracks are valued when we create one of these blocks…cracks equal a place for resin to go. The blocks are constructed by laminating two 1″ rough cut milled boards with 16 rare earth neodymium magnets in each. The finished product is a seamless appearing block that is magnetized on both sides. The completed block contains a total of 32 magnets.Our block sits atop two 1” diameter stainless steel rods which reach almost 2” into the block for stability. The hardwood and stainless base also feature non-skid rubber feet which allow for airflow under the wood and add to its stability.
