Miwa Neishi Born in Tokyo in 1990. Currently based in New York. Her art pieces draw inspiration from abstract expressionism, prehistoric clay figures, and Japanese calligraphy. Each of her one-of-a-kind work are hand-built. It's unique presence has a function as a water-holding flower vase, signifying the artist’s desire; for people to connect with the elemental forms of life—earth and nature—in their homes. Her sculptural vases are showcased and sold in Noguchi Museum Shop and throughout the US, Japan, and Europe.
