Brief Introduction: Cuba's Cohiba Maduro 5 Magicos and the Maduro 5 series (consisting of the Genios, Mágicos, and the Secretos) debuted at the 9th Habanos Festival in the year 2007. It was the new Cuban Maduro (dark wrapper) cigar line from Cohiba. A good-looking Mágicos or Petit Robusto that emanates a spicy aroma as it burns. Capa Madura (dark/Maduro wrapper), is the upper leaf of the cigar tobacco plant better known as the Ligero. Flavours: It is significantly earthy and spicy with leather and plenty of wood, dark espresso, spices while the chocolate notes faded to the background. There are also notes of leather, salty peanut. Synopsis: The Cohiba Maduro 5 Mágicos did not have the expected pigtail caps, but they were loaded with rich flavour (as mentioned above) that lived up to the hype surrounding the release in the late 2000s.
