Available as downloadable PDF The patterning of this hat by Angela Steffen happens due to the yarn--it is much simpler than it appears. Why do the work if the yarn will do the work for you?? Uses less than one skein of a self-patterning yarn, such as Yarn Bee Fair Isle (available at Hobby Lobby). The pattern uses a single strand of yarn, so it is written for a loom with 3/8" gauge. CinDWood fine gauge small adult/youth large loom with 72 pegs was used for sample.
