Pair of Papago basketry dolls. Male and female. With original sales tag “Arizona. Made by Sally Lopez at Santa Rosa Valley.” Ex. Dunning. Papago baskets are handcrafted of beargrass, yucca cactus (white or green) and Devil’s Claw (black). The technique used is known as coiling.
