One of the most widespread of the genus, this blue bush or California lilac, grows from the Columbia River Gorge through southern California and the mountains of the SW. To an eventual 6-8ft with light green semi-deciduous foliage and abundant washed blue to light pink to nearly white flowers mid Spring and sporadically into Autumn.
