Classic Monterey cypress, though endemic to just the Monterey Bay peninsula and one island just off Baja, it is widely grown throughout the warm temperate world and is common as a statuesque silhouette on the California & Oregon coast. Think Pebble Beach. Tree to 30-60ft, depending on soil, with deep green, lemon scented foliage and shredding orange bark. Tolerant, though not demanding, of summer drought.
