Spanish-American War Pension File

The United States was involved in a war with Spain in 1898.  Many of the soldiers involved in this war received pensions from the government later in life. These pension files usually tell information about his service in the war, his life after the war, and details about his family. They are usually between 50-100 pages long. These are available for soldiers of most of the wars that were fought in the 1800s.  Details & Terms You will receive full color images of the records, delivered electronically.   Please allow for 6-8 weeks at the most for delivery, but in many cases it will be shorter than that.  Please be sure you submit the correct details.  We're not responsible if you order the wrong soldier.  If you have a Spanish American War ancestor, but you're not sure what's available to order, click here and we can help you start the process.     If the pension file is one that is in St. Louis instead of DC, there may be a small fee added in order to retrieve the file from there
