MK7 / 7.5 GTI & Golf R Center Hood Vent

This product is powder coated to order. We stock these parts raw/uncoated. Please allow a 4-6 business day lead time before shipping for any powder coated color. The CJM Industries hood vents feature a 2 piece design that sandwiches the hood to keep it rigid. They are constructed out of USA made, laser cut 5052 Aluminum. A cutting/drilling template for the hood is included with all orders.  This center vent has a few key features designed specifically for MQB MK7 Golf variant vehicles. Sealed hood vent ducting is not possible in these tight engine bays with an OEM location intercooler, radiator and condenser, therefore we followed all of the best practices we could to keep the efficiency of this vent as high as possible.  This vent is placed in the low pressure area (blue) on the leading edge of the hood to take advantage of the pressure differential.
