SHAPE SHIFTING!

Original Artwork, 2019Acrylic on Canvas36”x36”x1.5” This is one the first paintings I created. Having never explored my burgeoning artistic flair, I decided to play with the notion of creating dimension and balance through the use of “white space” - something that is not a common thread through most of my work. I wanted a sense of balance through color and the absence thereof. Depending on which way you look at the picture you gain a different perspective of small shapes “shifting” into larger ones or vice versa. This image plays with the concept of space and expansion.
