Vintage blue fountain pen signature-- given on behalf of both himself and Charlie McCarthy!-- on a 2.75 x 4.5-inch portion of an off-white autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1940s. In good condition, with very slightly uneven trimming. Legendary ventriloquist Edgar Bergen is remembered for lending his voice to a number of wooden alter egos, including hayseed Mortimer Snerd and man-hungry Effie Clinker, but Charlie McCarthy would always remain the star attraction.
