RARE vintage 10x8-inch black and white still portrait as Harold in William Friedkin's groundbreaking gay drama The Boys in the Band (1970), boldly signed with his name alone in blue felt-tip marker in the 1980s. In good condition for its age. Leonard Frey was nominated for an Academy Award for his portrayal of Motel, the mild-mannered tailor, in Fiddler on the Roof (1971) before his tragic death of A.I.D.S. at the age of 49. Just the third signed portrait of him we have ever encountered.
