Highly rare vintage black fountain pen signature of the pioneering film director on a 3-1/8 x 5.25-inch portion of a light yellow autograph album page, acquired in-person in the late 1920s and later affixed to an 8.5 x 11-inch sheet of white cardstock by a collector, beneath a computer-printed image of the Hollywood legend. The page is in fine condition for its age, with a minor patch of staining in the lower right-hand area, not affecting the writing itself.
