PROFOUNDLY rare 3.5 x 5.5-inch matte-finish sepia-tone portrait as Kris Kringle in Miracle on 34th Street (1947)-- the photo he would send to children who wrote to him-- boldly signed with his name alone in blue fountain pen in the period of the film. A few other examples of the same autographed image have fetched over $1,250.00 at auction! In very good condition and magnificent for display. English-born, classically trained Edmund Gwenn was one of the great character actors of cinema's Golden Age.
