Extremely rare vintage blue fountain pen signature on a 4.25 x 6-inch beige autograph album page, acquired in-person in the late 1930s and decorated with a Players Directory image. In good condition for its age, with a horizontal fold across the center, a few scattered crinkles, and a sticker from the third-party authenticator Global Authentics affixed to the bottom right-hand corner. Gorgeous Carole Lombard, who starred in a string of off-beat screwball comedies, died tragically in a plane crash in 1942, aged only 33 years. Virtually all "autographed" material one encounters is secretarially signed!
