Scarce vintage inscribed signature in black felt-tip marker, dated 1986, on a 1978 first day cover honoring a stamp featuring a piano and the caption "Peace unites a nation like harmony in music"-- a notion with which she would assuredly concur. In very good condition. The avant-garde Japanese artist, musician and filmmaker was the wife of the Beatles' John Lennon from 1969 through his murder in 1980. Her autograph is extremely elusive in any format.
