Native American Sterling Silver Concho Belt
$900.00
Description : The word concho, or concha, means shell. The Europeans possibly influenced the Native American design of these belts, but they have been made by Native Americans for over 400 years. The silver was laid out, sawn into various outlines as shown, stamped with traditional motifs, and then formed into a concave shape, originally to accommodate a leather belt. In this belt however, each piece is joined by a jump ring and assembled together. This is a phenomenal piece of art and would look great with a long black dress. Truly a Native American treasure. Item Number : 10324-26 Category : BELT Brand : NAVAJO
