Adidas X 18.1 Red FG New with box The Upper: The X16.1 featured a newly designed "Techfit" upper synthetic material The Techfit used a super thin synthetic layer over a mesh like material that is used around the dynamic sock liner The sock collar allowed for a super easy locked in fit and extra ankle support, one of the most comfy "high" sock collars that was created The Sole Plate: A sprintframe sole plate, very similar to the previous X and F50 models was used The sole plate featured a lightweight plastic material supported by 2 wishbone like elements near the midfoot for added support  Notes and Comments: The X model did replace the F50 line as the premier Adidas speed boot While these weren't quite as light as the F50's, they were still ultra comfy and offered much more padding and support
