Description Particulars For your consideration is a Ron Kusse Baby Catskill 36L bamboo fly rod in unfished condition. The 36L is a 6' 0" two-piece for a 1 or 2-weight line weighing 1.75 oz. All sections are full-length and straight.This rod consists of straw color cane constructed in a 3x3 node pattern with red wraps. The grip is a well-proportioned 4" in length. Nickel silver cap and ring. The butt cap is stamped, "Ron Kusse Maker." Size 8 ferrule with a perfect fit. In my hand, the taper is on the fast side of medium fast, wispy, and light with the action in the upper 2/3 of the rod. A rare unfished Kusse rod.
