This is a genuine Mercedes-Benz Battery Hold Down Bracket for W201, W124, and C215 Models. The location for this part varies between vehicles, but it is always found under the hood around the battery. It secures the battery in place with this bracket, a nut, and a bolt. Whenever the battery needs to be removed, this part needs to be removed. Over time, this part easily corrodes badly due to being around the battery.
