Brake Light Switch Genuine Mercedes

This is a genuine Mercedes-Benz Brake Light Switch for R129 SL-Class and A124 Cabriolet vehicles. It is a small component located near the brake pedal that activates the brake lights when the pedal is depressed. On an R129, this part is found behind a panel in the drivers foot well. There is a panel below the steering wheel, which allows you access to components inside the dashboard. After the panel is removed, it could easily be found above the brake pedal with the help of a flashlight. Note: This part is compatible with other Mercedes models from 1985-2006.
