This is a genuine Mercedes-Benz Door Jamb Plate Clip. Part number: 1236900018, 123-690-00-18. This part fits a variety of Mercedes-Benz vehicles from 1990-2018. The location of this part will vary from vehicle to vehicle. These are sold individually. On an R129, this part is found behind the door jamb plate (see photo below). The screws for the door jamb plate are screwed into these clips. Each clip is pushed into the slot behind the plate, and then the screws are installed into them.
