This is a genuine Mercedes-Benz Sliding Sunroof Vent Cover for W140 S-Class vehicles. This part is only available in the Mushroom color. Ensure that you are purchasing the correct vent as the W140 had different sunroof styles throughout the years. This vent has 8 slots, and vehicles with this style vent had 4 of these parts on the vehicle. Other style vents had 14 slots and those vehicles only used 2 vents, and others had a solid sunroof with no vents. The W140 had different sunroof orientations that you could adjust to your comfort. One of those options were to open the glass roof, but not open the sliding sunroof. This allowed light and air to enter the vehicle through these vents if you did not want the sunroof to be entirely open.
