The most famous Japanese pop artist is undoubtably Yayoi Kusma. Her iconic pumpkins and unique style of adding dots on the surface of her paintings and scupltures has captured the imagination of fans and brands. Labels such as Louis Vuitton have collaborating with her adding her unique style to their collection of bags and clothing. We will learn about her influences, artistic characteristics, motifs, and style in order to emulate her style with a Clay House Art twist. Our canvas artwork camps combine 2D and 3D artmaking techniques to recreate these modern art masterpieces in air dry clay. For this week, campers will deleve into pop artist Yayoi Kusama's Pumpkin. C
