While Yayoi Kusma is undoubtably the most famous Japanese contemporary artist, Takashi Murakami may be a close second. Murakami’s unique style and color choice make his work extremely memorable, and modern brands have gravitated towards him, collaborating with the Japanese artist on all manner of things. We will learn about his influences, artistic characteristics, motifs, and style in order to emulate his style but with a Clay House Art twist.
