ClearSonic Hinge

All ClearSonic Acrylic Panel systems proudly feature our custom designed low-profile, heavy duty ‘mechanical lock’ hinge. ClearSonic Acrylic Panels undergo an extra step in the manufacturing process that creates a ‘locking groove’ on the long edge of the panels. This is achieved by the hard ‘tooth’ on the hinge snapping into the groove for a superior, longer lasting hold. Exceptions to this are the H-Channel (HCNL) and Base Channel (BASE) which attach to the smooth top and bottom of each panel and do not bend.  Select your hinge model using the dropdown menu. Hinge Features  Full-length – our hinges run the full length of each acrylic panel. This extra coverage provides superior sound isolation compared to competitors whose hinges leave exposed seams between panels for sound to escape.   Tooth in groove mechanical lock – the hinge tooth locks into the groove cut into each acrylic panel for superior connection and longer life, especially compared to Friction hinge.   Low profile –
