Learn to Crochet

Crocheting can seem like a daunting new hobby, and our goal is to make it as easy and accessible as possible! Plan to arrive about 30 minutes early and we'll explain everything you need to know, and help you pick out materials! THIS CLASS IS FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS! If you already know how to make a chain and single or double crochet, please sign up for our 102 class! If you are an absolute beginner, you are welcome to sign up without reading the following information. For those who like to have all the info, we got you, read on to learn all about what you'll need for and learn in this class! In this class you have the option of making a chunky cozy scarf, a cowl, or a little purse! We'll start my learning how to make a chain, then single crochet for the rest of class. Midway through we will demonstrate how to add a new ball of yarn, fasten off, and weave in ends. Most students do not finish their project in class. Crocheting is a slow but also extremely rewarding and meditative process
