Learn to Knit

Knitting can seem like a daunting new hobby, and our goal is to make it as easy and accessible as possible! Plan to arrive about 30 minutes early and we'll explain everything you need to know, and help you pick out materials! THIS CLASS IS FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS! If you already know how to do the knit stitch, please sign up for our 102 class! If you are an absolute beginner, you are welcome to sign up without reading the following information. For those who like to have all the info, we got you, read on to learn all about what you'll need for and learn in this class! In this class you can get started on making an easy scarf, hat, or bag. We’ll go over how to cast on, or start your knitting, and the knit stitch. Depending on each student's progress and timing, we may also give demos on binding off, seaming, and weaving in your ends.
