Accurate 3D Topography map of TYCHO Crater on the Moon
Description: Explore off world locations like never before with our stunning 3D topographical map 🚀🌌. Experience its surface in accurate detail. A must-have for space enthusiasts! 🪐 This is a detailed 3D map of Tycho crater on the moon. The Apollo 17 mission may have recovered samples from this crater at their landing site of Taurus-Littrow. If that is true the analysis of these samples place an estimate for its age at around 108 million years making Tycho a relatively young crater. This is why its features are abnormally steep and sharp. The crater is about 82 km (51 miles) across and the distance from Tycho's floor to its rim is about 4.7 km (2.9 miles). The summit seen in the middle is 2 km (1.2 miles) above the floor of the crater. The crater was named after the Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe (1546-1601). It is a popular landmark for armature astronomers to pick out on the moon and you can see it at 43.37?S, 348.68?E. I also added a picture of its location on the moon to make it
