Halcyon on Film Art Print

Halcyon: A period of time in the past that was idyllically happy and peaceful. This image is a double exposure (two overlapping images). Double exposures have always felt magically stuck in between two worlds, or two dimensions, or in this case, maybe like looking back on memories, where they overlap and appear segmented in our minds. I love the sunshine feel of the flowers, caught up with the peaceful sage color of the cacti. This photo was taken on was taken on medium format film (not digital) using a Pentax 645 camera and Portra Film.  Printed on fine art smooth matte paper that is known for its image sharpness and overall color density and gradation, these prints have an archival lifespan of 100 years in regular in home light and 200 years in dark storage, choose from 8x10, 11x14, or 16x20 sizes.  Each print is packaged with a backing board in a protective cello sleeve and shipped in a rigid mailer.
