Mudita on Film Art Print
Mudita: The joyful feeling that comes from delighting in other people's well being. This image is one of my favorite in this series simply because I don't typically like red in photos. In the digital realm, red tends to register harsh, and will take over an image, but on film, red can take on a different look. When I took this image, it was because the flowers were pretty, but I was sure I wouldn't like the result... then it happened to be gorgeous (thanks, film!). This image was named for the joy I felt in having taken a photo where red looks beautiful. This photo was taken on was taken on medium format film (not digital) using a Pentax 645 camera and Portra Film.
