Triple Reservoir
The triple reservoir is designed for 96 head access with a convoluted bottom for low dead volume. It features a large central reservoir comprising columns 2 through 11 of the 96 pattern. Columns 1 and 12 are separated into 4 different reservoirs. The intended purpose is that a dilute reagent is placed in the central reservoir and the dilutant without the reagent is placed in the Column1 and Column 12 reservoirs. The dilute reagent is then surrounded on two sides by reagent-less dilutant. This reduces edge effect evaporation for the central reservoir. The triple reservoir could also be used for parallel analysis within a 96 plate or for serial titrations.
