Wear plate for the "L" handle on the Unicender

The Drum is a friction device added to the RE Unicender to save wear and add function.  Instillation is required. This is a new version that also includes a sacrificial wear plate for the bottom "L" bracket. This listing is for both the Drum, wear plate, screws and lock washers, positioning plate and/or stencil for proper positioning of the screw holes.   Another listing for the Unicender with the Drum and wear plate installed is also available as well as a separate listing for just the "L" bracket wear plate.  Technical notice for the Drum kit or lower wear plate designed by Climbing Innovations LLC and used on the Unicender. A user in New Zealand has reported an issue with the use of the lower friction plate that comes with the Drum Kit or is sold separately by Climbing Innovations LLC. It involves the Unicender being locked into the Control Mode descent. If a user inadvertently places the Unicender in this configuration the climber will need to continue the descent to the ground or
