Decaf Cocoa Mint

Tasting Notes: fresh mint, cocoa, hints of cream Description: Decaffeinated black tea layered with fresh mint, chocolate, and a touch of vanilla cream. An excellent dessert tea that is reminiscent of Andes Crème de Menthe after dinner chocolate mints.  This dessert inspired tea is excellent with milk of choice and a touch of sweetener. An indulgent tea without all the calories.  Vegan and dairy-free.   Our decaf teas are created using the CO2 decaffeination process. The advantage of this technique is that no chemical solvents are used to remove the caffeine. In this manner of decaffeination, naturally occurring CO2 is applied to the tea leaf in a circulation process which carefully uses high pressure and temperature to extract the caffeine. A very slight residue of caffeine will remain in the tea leaf, which is why we call them decaf teas rather than no caffeine teas.
