Amano Shrimp
Amano Shrimp, scientifically known as Caridina multidentata, is a highly regarded freshwater shrimp species originating from East Asia, particularly Japan and Taiwan. Renowned for their exceptional algae-eating abilities and intriguing behavior, Amano Shrimp have become a popular choice among aquarium enthusiasts, especially in planted and community tanks. Physical Characteristics: Size: Amano Shrimp are relatively small, typically reaching an adult size of about 1.5 to 2 inches (3.8 to 5 centimeters).
