Our Golden Kahwa is a lightly spiced green tea, beautifully colored and uniquely flavored with saffron.  We developed this blend with one of our founder Mike's native interpreters that he served with in Afghanistan.  The son of a saffron farmer, he stressed the importance of this incredible ingredient while advising us that every family develops their own blend. Kahwa is Afghanistan's national tea and our blend evokes the teas shared with Afghan partners while Mike served his first tour in Kabul.
