Produced in the second year of the Fender Japan production, the JV (Japanese Vintage) line were produced for the domestic Japan market and only made for 2 years (82 -84). Neck is dated September 1982, body is dated January 1983, and pot codes date 1982. These were and are top quality instruments with lots of attention to detail. Every bit is vintage correct. This one is all original and in excellent condition. The body features a lacquer finish and shows some surface marks on the back side and some very small dings / chips in the finish along the edges but is overall in very good condition with no major issues. The neck is in great shape and features a soft v profile. Headstock is clean. Fretboard is in good condition. Frets show some wear but have no issues with fretting out or buzzi
