Forget Me Not Mourning Ring

Full of sentiment and symbolism, this antique ring is a stunning memorial for a loved one passed. Created from 18k yellow gold with seed pearls to represent tears and carved cameo forget-me-not flower on the face. There is detailed scroll work throughout this piece and an enameled band that reads "In Memory Of". The back of the face of this ring contains the inscription, "John Marshland died May 27th 1873. aged 65 years" and a glass enclosed lock of hair.
