There is systemic racism + a historical component when it comes to Black Women breastfeeding.  A history of wet nursing.⁣The lack of breastfeeding support + disapproval.We are 9 times more likely to be offered formula by hospitals than White women.                                               The under representation within the lactation + motherhood community.⁣ This button was designed to remind us the beauty of Black women breastfeeding + was created to celebrate Black Breastfeeding week.
