This is a comically oversized soap scented with muscovado sugar and shaped like the Tai fish... a symbol of good fortune in Japanese culture. It's made by one of Japan's oldest soapmakers, Tamanohada, who have been using old-school wooden kashigata molds to make each piece for over 120 years.
