Espresso was born out of necessity—Italians wanted coffee faster and stronger, and Milanese innovator Luigi Bezzera delivered. His invention of steam-powered coffee extraction in 1901 set the stage for what would become one of the most beloved daily rituals. Later perfected by Achille Gaggia, high pressure brewing created the signature crema, giving espresso its velvety texture and unmatched depth. Our Italian Espresso carries on this legacy with an intensely chocolatey and full bodied profile that’s as smooth as it is bold. Layers of chocolateand caramel give it richness, while a hint of toasted hazelnut and sweet cinnamon add depth and warmth.
