Kona Sunrise is a rare and exclusive coffee from the rugged volcanic slopes of the Kona region on Hawaii’s Big Island. Hand-picked and wet-processed using traditional methods, resulting in a clean and well-balanced cup with a medium body and cheerful, bright acidity with classic balance that exhibits spicy and also buttery qualities with subtle winey tones, intense aromatic, and a subtle complexity that lingers in its aromatic finish. Grown at high altitudes in deep volcanic soil, in a small area on the West Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. The growing region is only about fifty square miles in all, and is farmed largely by small landowners. Kona, Hawaii offers ideal climate conditions for growing coffee.
