SECONDS: Lab Notes Canvas Shoulder Tote

Sometimes we come across items that aren't quite up to our standards. Rather than fill up the landfill with things that are pretty good but not perfect, we're making them available to our earth-conscious customers who love deals! These items have minor misprinting or minor flaws in construction. Here's a tote bag drawn from a collection of notes taken by chemist, Ruth Maust during her PhD studies researching new carbon-based materials. In her words: Specifically, most of my work was related to making polymers from circular molecules called "carbon nanohoops" (if you're familiar with carbon nanotubes, nanohoops are like slices of a nanotube). We can make carbon nanohoops with atomic-level precision (not yet possible for carbon nanotubes), so by stringing carbon nanohoops together in different ways, the idea was that we'd have a lot of control over the structure and properties of the final materials.
