In Motion Print

Woodblock print on cougar paper. Edition of 12 with 2 artist's editions. This print was inspired by Christiane Baumgartner's prints and is a response to our experience of digitizing life during the pandemic. Created using Birch Woodblocks, laser engraving software, and a print press, this print combines the motion of our everyday lives while questioning how we are being mediated. The horizontal halftone effect reminds me of viewing my own actions after-the-fact slightly resembling CCTV screens. 100% of proceeds are going to Send Chinatown Love, an organization providing economic relief to small restaurants and stores in Chinatown, and providing warm meals to residents.
