Greene's Beargrass is a wonderful, evergreen grass-like perennial from the plains of New Mexico, Colorado, and Oklahoma. Beargrass is green and beautiful in the winter garden. The 2-foot tall tawny flower spikes in late spring are nestled in the grassy foliage. Full sun to part shade. 2-3 ft tall x 3-4 ft wide. Zone 5. Sold in a 2.5-inch pot.
