Cadenza Ribbon Microphone Pair

These British made ribbons are sometimes referred to as “Rocket” ribbon mic’s, and were made by Simon Sound out of London for use with their tape recorders. In their stock form, these ribbons are not at their best, however after a few upgrades they make very nice sounding ribbons. These have new ribbons, new transformers, new balanced XLR cables, and a modification to the motor to prevent unwanted distortion. After their mods, these Cadenza’s are great for drum overheads, guitars, room mic’s, etc. Both of these have been matched to one another and are ready for action!
