Aetherdrift Prerelease #3 - Two-Headed Giant Magic: the Gathering Prerelease 2025-02-08 18:00:00 Celebrate Aetherdrift with the third Prerelease event of the weekend! For the first time ever, Cole Street Game Vault is holding a Two-Headed Giant Tournament!!! Two-Headed Giant is a team-based event where players are grouped into teams of two! You can create your teams ahead of time, or if there are folks who want to be assigned a team, then we canhelp to facilitate that as well! Each player signs up seperately and will receive a prerelease pack with 6 Aetherdrift Play Boosters and a promo card.  From the combined pool of both players' prerelease packs, the players will construct two 40-card decks. Then each team will battle it out in three rounds of swiss-matchups against other teams. Play, plan, and battle as a team. In Two-Headed Giant, the life total is shared and starts at 30 life. In Two-Headed Giant, each two-player teams shares a starting 30 life and takes their turn simultaneously. The team does not share any other resources other than life. For instance, any reference to "you" on a card still applies to the individual holder. Effects that read "each opponent" or "each player", however, affect each team member separately. Players can block any creature(s) that are attacking them, their teammates or Planeswalkers their team controls. Each match win earns a prize pack per player and if a team wins all three rounds, then the players will receive additional prize packs as well! In addition, each prerelease event attended earns an entry for each player into our win-a-box raffle which will be held on Sunday afternoon at the end of the last event.
